雙口呂文化廚房在今年降生於桃園南興，踏入三合院，屬於地方的文化料理教室，於12月與人們正式相見，透過料理連結人與人，創造地方沉浸式體驗的可能性。

「其實，我們從沒想過要做地方創生。」爽朗又帶點靦腆地回應，夫妻兩人相視笑著說道。雙口呂文化廚房是「粿的料理教室」，以料理結合地方文化的教學體驗為主，概念源於外國的「Food Tour」。

周佩儀想起小時候每到逢年過節，外婆會在自家三合院製作粽子、發粿、年糕等傳統米食的場景，而這些米食與傳統信仰和祭祀文化有密不可分的關係，比如春節會做發糕、端午節綁粽子，清明節則會做紅龜粿和草仔粿來拜神明和祖先。於是，兩人決定一邊研究傳統米食、一邊跟外婆學習做粿，成立「雙口呂」文化廚房。

周佩儀是桃園八德的農村小孩，農人敬天畏地有許多祭典，農忙時換工需要各種米食，因此她從小就吃著各種粿點，也有許多和外婆一起下廚的經驗。但外省背景的黃騰威，成長過程中偶爾吃到的粿都是買來的，他為何也要步上粿的傳承之路？

除了婦唱夫隨外，他還有一肚子的不服氣。「我在學習過程中發現『粿』明明就是好東西，其中有很多智慧與文化，一點都不輸西點或和果子。」但為什麼「粿」會變成今日端不上檯面的老東西呢？他自覺有責任要改變這種現況。

「呷紅龜粿，年頭好到年尾」

在閩客傳統粿點中，曝光機率最高的當屬紅龜粿，從台式聖誕節（如正月初九天公生日、二月初二土地公生日）到廟宇建醮都得用它來拜拜。加上粿面印有龜紋，具有長壽的吉祥意涵，因此度晬（嬰兒周歲）、作壽等人生重要時刻，都少不了紅龜粿的陪伴。傳統會以人工色素染色，但周佩儀改用紅麴粉，不只健康，而且紅麴紅得很收斂，讓紅龜粿的賣相更迷人。

周佩儀記得阿嬤說過，雨天是最適合作番薯粿的日子。天雨無法下田工作，就在廚房裡把番薯磨成泥，加入澱粉下鍋煎得焦香，就是農工餐間和孩子們放學後的點心。
